Alder Press was founded in 1993 to publish Sea-Mountain: Cascade Head-Salmon River Anthology. The Oregon Coast, by Fred Barrett.
Other books and booklets by Fred Barrett: Driving Miss Doozy (1996). The more or less true story of the worst car ever, 20 pages.
Frankly, Scarlett, I Gave at the Office: 117 Outrageous Quotes Famous People Never Said (1996), 15 pages.
Ziiza: A Story of the Oregon Country (2003; republished in 2006), 414 pages.
The only other author Alder Press has published is Don Berry. (See a listing of some of his books in the Ziiza contest prize list.) In 1994 Fred collaborated with Don to publish the booklet Don Berry Short Stories, 43 pages.
